You are looking for a highly experienced, business-aligned Trainer in Mutual Funds to lead capability building and strategic enablement for the pan-India mutual fund distribution and insurance network. This role goes beyond training and focuses on partner growth, sales acceleration, and market readiness across wealth and insurance products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a business growth consultant to top-performing partners, shaping their long-term sales and expansion strategies.
- Lead executive-level enablement interventions for high-potential distributors and their teams.
- Establish customized coaching and productivity models based on partner maturity, market, and product focus.
- Design and execute a pan-India learning roadmap covering investments, insurance, sales techniques, and regulatory knowledge.
- Build and mentor a high-performing, geographically distributed training team.
- Implement scalable training methodologies, hybrid delivery models, and impact measurement frameworks.
- Create and own a centralized knowledge framework for all investment and insurance content.
- Translate regulatory changes, market shifts, and financial insights into partner-ready, actionable formats.
- Lead content innovation across various formats like video, digital learning, micro-modules, and real-time field enablers.
- Drive tech adoption across the partner ecosystem, including CRM platforms, analytics tools, and digital sales journeys.
- Collaborate with internal teams to embed learning and enablement into partner tools.
- Conduct strategic sessions on using data and tech for client retention, upsell, and wallet expansion.
- Set up a mechanism to track partner performance and learning ROI.
- Proactively create strategic capability interventions based on performance patterns.
- Align learning with business KPIs and partner lifetime value in collaboration with Sales and Distribution leaders.
- Stay ahead of SEBI/IRDA/AMFI regulations, competitor strategy, and product innovation.
- Act as an expert for internal teams on market evolution and readiness.
- Disseminate strategic insights to help partners future-proof their business.
- Partner closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Tech teams to align learning priorities with business goals.
- Lead the mindset shift toward insight-led selling and structured partner development.
- Champion a learning-first culture across internal teams and external partners to power sales success.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years of experience in Mutual Fund Training, Sales, or Product roles within Asset Management, Financial Services, or WealthTech.
- Solid business orientation with proven success in distributor transformation, sales enablement, or channel growth.
- Deep subject matter expertise in Mutual Funds, Insurance (Life & Health), and partner-facing regulatory environments.
- Outstanding communication and facilitation skills in English and Hindi; comfortable with senior partner conversations and online sessions.
- Comfortable with travel for offline sessions, including field immersion and high-touch partner interactions.
- Track record of leading teams, owning strategy, and working cross-functionally with business heads.
