Technical Service Engineer

You will be responsible for providing a high level of technical support to external customers, focusing on on-site installation, validation, and commissioning of instruments like Radio Remote Controls and Customized products. Your role will also involve service coordination, customer technical support, on-site training, and interfacing with cross-functional teams. Your key responsibilities will include: - Performing on-site installation, validation, and commissioning of instruments - Conducting hands-on troubleshooting, service, and repairs - Offering high-level technical support to external customers at their location - Providing on-site training to customers - Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as field applications, customer support/services, product management, manufacturing, and marketing/sales - Developing service technical documentation - Maintaining service information in the company enterprise database - Handling field service calls and issues arising from field service visits in a timely and professional manner - Completing and submitting all required paperwork promptly - Communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction and implementing necessary corrective actions - Performing other duties as required for a Field Service Engineer Qualifications required: - Fresh Diploma or equivalent technical qualifications in electrical - Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel - Ability to test and troubleshoot electrical analog and digital circuits - Knowledge of Communications or Wireless Communication - Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time around India and work at heights - Preference for candidates located in and around Chennai You should also have an understanding of Electrical Diagrams to effectively carry out your responsibilities.
