Job Description
As an automation professional at Schneider Electric, you will be responsible for working on the design, documentation, and execution of automation projects for our customers in the Energies business segments such as Oil and Gas, Electro-intensive, Power and Grid, Transport, etc. To excel in this role, you are expected to have strong hands-on experience in the design, Engineering, Database configuration, validation & commissioning of substation automation solutions using Schneider System or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Have knowledge of the power system value chain & be well versed with substation switchgear components functioning, representation, their international codes, etc.
- Possess knowledge and experience of different Bay Control Unit, Protection IED, RTU & PLC-based products.
- Be fully conversant with communication network design, configuration & commissioning including their latest standards such as RSTP, PRP, HSR, Dual-Homing, etc. Hands-on experience with the EPAS / EPO (PSO) Engineering Tool Suite such as EPAS/ M580/Visio/PSO/EPO/Citect/PME etc.
- Have international projects execution experience, Good English communication skills, and any other language proficiency could be add-on advantages.
- Perform Engineering, validation & Commissioning activity for short- and long-term deputation.
Qualifications Required:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Science, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- 4-8 years of experience in energy automation project execution, team leadership, and customer management.
- Versatile customer experience is a plus.
