Job Description
You are required to work as a practical and customer-facing Tech Architect in an IT services environment. Your responsibilities will include supporting engagements from pre-sales activities to solutioning, architecture definition, delivery guidance, and execution reviews. You should be comfortable interacting with customers, shaping solution options, guiding engineering teams, and ensuring technically sound and deliverable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in pre-sales discussions, discovery sessions, and solution workshops with customers.
- Understand business requirements, current landscape, and technical constraints to convert them into practical architecture.
- Support solutioning, estimation, proposal inputs, and scope shaping.
- Define end-to-end architecture for applications, platforms, integrations, and modernization initiatives.
- Guide engineering teams on design, scalability, performance, security, and integration approach.
- Conduct architecture reviews, design reviews, and delivery execution reviews during the project lifecycle.
- Identify technical risks and dependencies early and support teams in resolving them.
- Collaborate closely with delivery managers, engineering managers, developers, and customer stakeholders to ensure execution aligns with the proposed architecture.
- Promote reuse through standard patterns, reference architectures, and good engineering practices.
Qualifications Required:
- 12 to 18 years of experience in software engineering, architecture, and enterprise delivery.
- Strong experience in an IT services / consulting environment with customer-facing engagements.
- Good exposure to pre-sales support, solution shaping, estimation, and technical proposal discussions.
- Strong architecture experience across enterprise applications, APIs, integrations, and scalable digital platforms.
- Proficiency in multiple technology stacks like Java, Ruby on Rails, Python, JavaScript / TypeScript, Node.js, .NET, or similar ecosystems.
- Knowledge of microservices, APIs, cloud platforms, distributed systems, and integration patterns.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, and engineering governance.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across customers, internal teams, and leadership.
In addition, the company prefers candidates with domain exposure in one or more of the following areas:
- Supply Chain
- Manufacturing
- Music / Digital platforms
- Financial Services
