Systems Administrator

Role Overview: As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you will be responsible for solving complex problems and identifying potential future issues across various platforms and services. Your role will involve working with some of the largest clients globally, managing systems data, providing day-to-day solutions, and ensuring security compliance. Each day will present new challenges and opportunities for growth and specialization in different industries. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical support utilizing RedHat OpenShift container orchestration platform, focusing on deployments in the healthcare industry - Troubleshoot and resolve OpenShift cluster issues such as pod failures, network problems, and security vulnerabilities - Collaborate with clients to identify root causes, implement solutions, and maintain stability - Stay updated on the latest OpenShift features, security best practices, and ensure clusters are patched and up to date - Maintain and troubleshoot integrations between OpenShift clusters and external systems - Possess knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot deployments using tools like Argo CD and Jenkins Qualifications Required: - 7+ years of experience in RedHat OpenShift Container (mandatory) - 3+ years of experience in sysdig, ArgoCD, Podman, Helm, and Github - Familiarity with Kubernetes, ServiceMesh, Certificates Management, Kubernetes Persistent Storage, and SDS - Working knowledge of HIPAA and other healthcare compliance regulations related to OpenShift deployments - Understanding of OnPrem and Cloud-based OpenShift deployments - Ability to configure and manage OpenShift routes and services for communication with external applications - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Ready to work on North America EST/PST time zones Company Details: Kyndryl is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where diversity is celebrated, and all employees are welcomed and supported.
