Supervisor, Packing and Shipment

As a Logistics Manager at our company, your primary responsibility will be to identify productivity enhancements that contribute to increased operational and financial performances and service improvements. You will be required to analyse data on large data sets to assess the performance of the logistics system for the site(s) and implement processes and procedures in accordance with the global logistics vision and strategy to achieve the desired performance level. It will be essential for you to ensure adherence to global logistics policies and procedures, as well as promote and provide training on these policies to the team. Your key responsibilities will include: - Assessing and communicating the operational and financial performances of the site(s), including conducting variance analysis, root-cause/countermeasures analysis, evaluating performance to revenue, and service levels - Preparing and facilitating monthly business reviews showcasing spend, savings, lost opportunity spend, and updates on site(s) performance - Providing oversight of all transportation services and modes, both international and domestic, to assist the site(s) in achieving logistics expectations using the Logistics Data Repository and ERPs - Conducting training on all logistics requirements as needed, including project management, process improvement, negotiation, sourcing, metrics reporting, incoterms, lost profit, and performance to revenue - Managing the escalation process to resolve logistics issues that affect site performances - Ensuring continuous improvement against the logistics key performance indicators (KPIs) - Working with site logistics teams to reduce lost opportunity spend through the usage of Flowserve's Authorized Vendor List (AVL), ensuring the routing guides are followed and updated as needed - Establishing credibility and ensuring effective efficient logistics solutions Additionally, you will be required to have: - 7+ years of experience in the Manufacturing or Valve industry, with 5-7 years of relevant experience in Logistics - A BS or BA Degree in a relevant field - Experience in transport logistics or order processing in a globally active company - Solid knowledge and proficiency using Incoterms and customs regulations - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - Project management and Implementation skills - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to analyze and create meaningful and concise critical data reports - Ability to work independently in a collaborative team environment - High energy and performance levels - Familiarity with ERP applications such as SAP, Oracle, Ariba - Strong analytical skills - Strong organizational, communication, and process definition capabilities If you are looking for a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to contribute to the global supply chain team and support the global supply chain maturity growth, this position is ideal for you.
