Job Description
As a Senior Associate/Lead Analyst in the Global Monitoring System (GMS) team within the Risk Management Services (RMS) at EY, your role will involve conducting research and executing global Independence processes aligned with EY Global (EYG) policies. Your primary responsibility will be to safeguard EY's independence by helping professionals comply with the firm's personal Independence policies. You will monitor financial relationships to identify and report potential conflicts of interest with audit clients, as well as provide coordinated support to EY professionals by addressing inquiries on various country and personal Independence-related topics.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop a strong working knowledge of Personal Independence concepts including financial interests, family relations, and business relationships.
- Perform procedures as per EYG Independence policies and update various EY tools and databases.
- Communicate with EY professionals and senior team members from Global/Regional Independence teams to resolve queries and gather information.
- Conduct quality reviews, analyze issues, and produce well-documented deliverables subject to review by external regulators.
- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of financial products and markets such as equities, structured products, and funds.
- Address inquiries and provide guidance to EY professionals regarding relationships, conflicts of interest, and personal independence requirements.
- Build knowledge of internal Independence tools used to record financial and family relation data.
- Share insights and technical acumen with stakeholders and engage in relevant discussions.
- Lead knowledge calibration sessions and suggest innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.
**Qualifications Required:**
- Masters/post-graduate degree (preferably in Finance) from a reputed institute.
- 3-5 years of experience in research and analysis in a professional services firm.
- Exposure to client interaction is preferred.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills in English.
- Basic understanding of financial products like equities, mutual funds, pension plans, etc.
**Technologies and Tools:**
- Experience in MS Office suites like Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
