Role Overview: As a proactive, visionary Senior Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in the creative team by transforming raw footage into compelling learning experiences, brand campaigns, and marketing assets. Your responsibilities include defining the look and feel of video content, mentoring team members, and establishing efficient production workflows. Key Responsibilities: - Edit and produce high-impact video content for various platforms such as educational courses, social media campaigns, product launches, and brand communications. - Elevate storytelling by expertly utilizing visuals, pacing, music/sound design, and effects while maintaining consistency with brand guidelines. - Manage the full post-production lifecycle, including color grading, motion graphics, sound design, visual effects, and final output. - Optimize video assets for distribution channels like YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and paid advertising networks. - Collaborate closely with content creators, subject matter experts, marketers, designers, and producers to conceptualize video formats and narrative structures. - Provide expert input during pre-production on storyboarding, scripting, and shot selection to ensure efficient post-production. - Maintain high technical standards, establish best practices, and efficient editing pipelines to increase team productivity. - Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and oversee asset management and project handoffs. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of professional video editing experience in ed-tech, digital media, or agency environment. - Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. - Mastery of color grading, motion graphics, and audio mixing/sound design. - Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality video work across various formats. - Ability to translate creative briefs into compelling visual narratives. - Proactive mindset, high technical standards, detail-oriented, and effective communicator.
