Job Description
As a Senior Principal Product Manager at Qualys based in Pune, India, you will play a crucial role in driving core capabilities of the Enterprise TruRisk Management (ETM) platform. Your responsibilities will include:
- Owning the roadmap and execution for ETM core modules such as risk prioritization, ROC workflows, reporting, analytics, and AI-powered experiences.
- Defining and building end-to-end workflows for risk triage, prioritization, remediation, and operational decision-making.
- Translating complex cybersecurity concepts into clear product requirements, prioritization logic, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
- Working closely with engineering and UX to define requirements, prioritize sprints, and validate features with high quality.
- Driving platform-first design across data models, correlation, prioritization logic, integrations, and intelligent workflow orchestration.
- Identifying opportunities to embed AI and agentic capabilities into ETM workflows, recommendations, and analyst experiences.
- Building and refining integrations with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, CMDBs, CSPMs, and vulnerability scanners.
- Partnering with customers, SMEs, and field teams to validate requirements, iterate quickly, and improve product quality.
- Identifying and addressing foundational gaps in data integrity, findings correlation, workflow effectiveness, and explainability.
Qualifications required for this role are:
- 10+ years of experience in product management or technical product roles.
- Strong experience building platform or cybersecurity products with deep technical complexity.
- Strong understanding of at least two of the following: Vulnerability Management, Risk Prioritization / RBVM, Cloud Security / CSPM, Security Operations / SOC, Compliance or Threat Detection.
- Strong platform mindset with experience in data models, workflows, integrations, and scalable systems.
- Ability to work hands-on with engineering on requirements, trade-offs, and execution details.
- Proven ability to operate as a strong IC and influence globally distributed teams.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with US-based teams.
Additionally, experience in building AI-driven product capabilities, including agentic AI, copilots, intelligent recommendations, or workflow automation, is strongly preferred.
