Job Description

You will be a part of the Finance (financial planning & analysis, reporting) centre of excellence team at Tata Communications, requiring 5+ years of core relevant work experience. Your role as a Sr. Team Member will involve focusing on the B2C (Billing to Collection) process, including collections operations, dispute management, and credit management. Additionally, you will work on data automation, dashboard development, MIS reporting, and maintaining structured data repositories to support management and business decision-making. Working knowledge of SQL Server is essential, with Python & Web technologies considered added advantages. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain reports, MISs, BI dashboards, databases, and centralized data repositories for regular and recurring data uploads and user access. Automate recurring and manual tasks using tools like Power BI, SQL, Advance Excel, Python, or other suitable tools to improve efficiency and reduce preparation time. Develop and maintain interactive business dashboards, MIS reports, and presentations for timely and accurate distribution to stakeholders. Provide ongoing support for existing automations, including enhancements, performance optimization, and incorporation of new business requirements. Implement change requests, new data requirements, and performance improvement opportunities effectively. Maintain proper historical data and file structures to ensure data hygiene. Prepare and update SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for BUA reports, automation processes, and data management activities. Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of reporting and automation deliverables. Deliver all assigned tasks on time with 100% accuracy and adhere to quality standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong hands-on experience in Advanced MS Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, formulas, data modeling). Practical experience in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, dashboard design, performance optimization). Working knowledge of SQL Server (queries, joins, data extraction, basic optimization). Basic to intermediate experience in Python, VBA, and/or Web development is an added advantage. Proficiency in MS PowerPoint for creating clear and professional business presentations. Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and requirement-gathering skills. Good understanding of business processes and reporting needs.
