Sr Engineer - Tech Analyst MBD Tools

As a Coding Tools Developer at our company, your role will involve developing the Coding Tools platform used for Vehicle Software development in alignment with end-user requirements across V-cycle. You will work on various tasks independently and participate in peer reviews and validations. Your responsibilities will include understanding customer requirements, adhering to processes and standards, creating documentation, analyzing and resolving issues, proposing improvement ideas, providing training, and staying updated with the latest technology trends in software development. Key Responsibilities: - Develop or update tools based on Model Based Design Guidelines using M-scripting, Python, VBA, or other preferred languages - Streamline inputs with customers and ensure autonomous project delivery - Create Requirement documents, Validation reports, and User Manuals for all tools - Analyze and resolve raised issues, conduct impact analysis, and enhance tools to prevent future issues - Propose improvement ideas for quality, cost, and time in the technical area - Provide training and coaching to junior level peers - Explore and adopt the latest technology trends through external training and online courses Key Technical Expertise: - Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR based coding and testing - Customization of MATLAB Embedded Coder for Automatic Code Generation - Experience in Fixed & Floating point coding from MATLAB Simulink and Stateflow - Proficiency in Model Based Design tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, RTW, SLDV, V&V, and MBD testing approaches (MIL, SIL) - Understanding of customized Library, S-function, and TLC Tools Proficiency: - Configuration Tools: SVN, Dimension, Git - MBD Tools: MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded Coder, dSPACE-TargetLink - V&V Tools: SLDV, Reactis, Reactis for C, BTC Embedded Tester - Compilation tools: Visual Studio, Tasking compiler, GHS, High-tech - Programming/Scripting: C, M-Scripts, Python Qualifications Required: - M.E./ M.Tech in Communication Engineering / Electrical Engineering / VLSI / Embedded - B.E./ B.Tech. in Automobile Engineering / ECE / CS / EEE with good academic standing In this role, your technical passion, analytical skills, adaptability, learning ability, problem-solving skills, communication, and interpersonal skills will be crucial for success.
