Sr. BI Analyst

As a BI Analyst at Global Financial Corporation, you will be responsible for: - Understanding fundamentals of data preparation/data modeling necessary for visualization purposes - Gathering reporting requirements from various stakeholders, architecting the solution/report, and delivering reports in a timely manner - Designing intuitive and interactive reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Cluvio or others for data-driven decisions - Performance monitoring, fine-tuning, and optimization of dashboards - Publishing and sharing dashboards, scheduling data refreshes - Handling complexity around visualization or data - Demonstrating strong SQL skills, preferably over Postgre or SQL Server, along with expertise in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence concepts - Interpreting written business requirements and technical specification documents - Having a sound understanding of Python and associated analytics libraries such as pandas, numpy, matplotlib - Developing dashboards for real-time monitoring of leads, operations, credit, and collection Your responsibilities will include: - Maintaining the existing rule engine developed in Python and making periodic updates - Developing dashboards for real-time monitoring of leads, operations, credit, and collection - Building data pipelines to merge data from different sources - Monitoring credit underwriting procedures and finding new data sources for better underwriting - Creating monthly portfolio reports Qualifications required for this role: - BE/B-Tech, BCA, MCA, MBA, BSc/MSc - Relevant work experience (Knowledge of SQL, ETL tools, any reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, Cluvio is mandatory) - Strong financial analytical skills and problem-solving skills - Effective communication skills - Experience in balancing customer-facing roles and work assessments - Self-starter with analytical and problem-solving skills If you are looking for a role in a dynamic BFSI domain and have 3-6 years of experience with skills in Data Visualization, Data Analysis, and hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, and other BI tools, this position could be the right fit for you.
