You will be joining LocalCircles, a platform that takes Social Media to the next level by focusing on Communities, Governance, and Urban Daily Life. As a Sr. Back-end Engineer/Architect in Noida, you will be responsible for creating highly scalable backend systems using GraphDB, Cassandra, MongoDB/MariaDB/MySQL, and MemCache/Couchbase. **Responsibilities:** - Build features for the back-end platform of LocalCircles for web and mobile platforms - Take the lead in understanding front-end and interactive requirements for releases - Collaborate with the product and field research team on features and module development - Identify and prioritize issues reported by the team and users for each release - Design and Architect highly scalable systems using various databases and cache technologies - Troubleshoot and fix user-reported issues promptly - Implement features to enhance the performance of web and mobile platforms - Work with business and marketing teams to understand user perspectives **Qualifications Required:** - Expertise in NoSQL databases like Cassandra, GraphDB, MariaDB, MySQL, or MongoDB - Proficiency in distributed cache systems like Couchbase, Memcache, or Hazelcast - Strong skills in MYSQL, PHP, and Java - Experience with Solr and Elastic Search - Knowledge of Open Source technologies like Kafka, InfluxDB, Riemann, Hadoop, and Storm is a plus - Excellent problem-solving skills and self-driven attitude - Strong team player with a passion for implementing new technical solutions **Personal Attributes:** - Flexible, proactive, and self-motivated working style with a strong sense of ownership - Willingness to learn new frameworks and technologies quickly - Ability to multitask under pressure and work independently or as part of a team - Highly motivated, positive, and capable of prioritizing tasks effectively If you possess the required qualifications and personal attributes, and you are excited about the opportunity to work on highly scalable systems in a dynamic environment, please apply by email at career@localcircles.com.
