As the Specialized Analytics Group Manager at our company, you will be accountable for managing complex, critical, and large professional disciplinary areas. You will lead and direct a team of professionals, requiring a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact to achieve the function's objectives. Your role will involve applying an in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions, with excellent commercial awareness being a necessity. You will be responsible for delivering a full range of services to one or more businesses or geographic regions. Excellent communication skills are required for negotiating internally, often at a senior level, with some external communication possibly necessary. Your accountability will extend to the end results of your area, exercising control over resources, policy formulation, and planning. You will primarily affect a sub-function, being involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for your area. Additionally, you will have full management responsibility for a team or multiple teams, including managing people, budget, planning, performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, terminations, and budget approval. **Responsibilities:** - Work with large and complex data sets (both internal and external data) to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of business strategies - Identify and compile data sets using tools such as SQL and Access to help predict, improve, and measure the success of key business outcomes - Document data requirements, data collection/processing/cleaning, and exploratory data analysis, which may involve utilizing statistical models/algorithms and data visualization techniques - May be referred to as Data Scientists, with specialization in marketing, risk, digital, and AML fields possible - Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, considering the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with laws, rules, regulations, policies, and ethical standards **Qualifications:** - 10+ years of experience - Proficiency in Financial/Business Analysis, credit/risk analysis, and impact on key business drivers through disciplined analytic processes - Provide analytic thought leadership and manage project planning effectively - In-depth understanding of financial service business models, expert knowledge of advanced statistical techniques, and their application for substantial business results - Creative problem-solving skills **Education:** - Bachelors/University degree required, Masters degree preferred This job description provides a high-level overview of the work performed.
