Job Description
As a New Relic Solutions Consultant II, your role will be crucial in understanding clients' business challenges and technical environments. You will need to present technology solutions that align with the New Relic platform capabilities and provide clear differentiation to drive the 'Technical Win' in accounts. Your responsibilities will include developing deep expertise in New Relic products and services, leading value and solution discovery workshops, creating technical proofs, and resolving critical business/technical issues. You will also need to collaborate with the broader account team, share best practices with other Solutions Consultants, and provide feedback to product management for enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop deep expertise of New Relic products and services
- Partner with sales for effective qualification for prospects and expansion opportunities
- Lead value and solution discovery workshops
- Create compelling Technical Proofs through demonstrations, presentations, and workshops
- Develop and present provocative points of view to showcase the potential of New Relic
- Execute proof-of-concept and pilot engagements aligned with customer business metrics
- Identify and resolve critical business/technical issues
- Contribute to achieving revenue goals for the assigned territory
Qualifications Required:
- Pre-sales experience or similar customer-facing technical roles (8+ years desirable)
- Understanding of monitoring and observability, including experience with various technologies
- Experience with open source technologies like Prometheus, Grafana, Opencensus, ELK
- Development experience in languages like Java, .NET, Ruby, Python, etc.
- Clear understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and Infrastructure as Code
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience working with enterprise customers in various industry verticals
- Passion and energy for technology with a willingness to travel
