Job Description

As a Support Software Engineer II in the Customer Technology team at Wayfair, you will be based in Bangalore, India. Your primary responsibility will be to support internal stakeholders in effectively using the in-house Communications Platforms and Martech Feeds & Signals Platforms to deliver high-quality engaging content to customers across various channels. **Role Overview:** You will work closely with internal customers on incident response, configuration support, and small project implementation. This role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys problem-solving and improving tools through feedback and iteration. **Key Responsibilities:** - Triage and resolve help and incident tickets via Slack and Jira queues. - Debug issues using platform tools such as UI, GBQ, GraphQL, JSON, and APIs. - Educate internal stakeholders on Communications Platform and Feeds capabilities. - Implement structured feed changes, troubleshoot delivery issues, and reduce time-to-market on feed updates. - Coordinate with external partners to resolve integration blockers and monitor feeds for anomalies. - Implement structured pixel and server-to-server changes, troubleshoot delivery issues, and reduce time-to-market on signal integrations. - Deliver on platform projects, collaborate on automation, maintain documentation, and identify automation opportunities. - Develop a strong working knowledge of Communications and Martech Platform architecture, integrations, and workflows. - Troubleshoot minor JavaScript/React code issues and make minor deployments to the platform's codebase. **Qualifications Required:** - 3-5 years in technical support, engineering, or platform implementation roles with hands-on experience in JSON parsing, API testing, SQL/GBQ, scripting logic, and troubleshooting mindset. - Clear communication skills and a customer-first mindset with ownership over technical support. - Comfortable driving work independently and collaborating across technical and stakeholder groups. - Knowledge of dashboard, metrics, monitoring, and logging technologies, CRM, marketing tech, product feed delivery, Git version control, and email-specific HTML best practices. - Previous experience with React/Javascript, Python automation is a plus. Please note that this role includes partial overlap with U.S.-based teams, operating on a mid-day to evening shift with hours up to 11 pm IST.
