Software Quality Assurance Architect

As a Test Architect with 12-17 years of experience, you will be primarily responsible for providing technical leadership and offering your strategic approach to quality engineering in the context of transformation. Your key responsibilities will include: - Experience in Transition & Transformation with COE expertise for QA, QE, test automation, agile process development (DevOps), any Cloud, service virtualization, test data management, CI/CD/CT. - Testing the most technically challenging features of the product and being the expert on a set of components or specialized testing types who can be consulted across projects. - Reviewing the design and architecture from a testability angle, identifying changes needed in the test approach and test framework for automation, and proposing solutions to keep the framework ready for development team activities. - Designing and developing tools and test automation framework for various components and systems. - Defining and executing E2E test strategy for a major release comprising complex modules/features/components. - Leading all test automation efforts in your area, reviewing designs and code written by other quality engineers, and mentoring test engineers to enhance their programming skills. - Participating in design reviews and code reviews, understanding the dependencies between various features/components, and continuously enhancing product/domain knowledge. - Retrospecting the gaps in the test framework and enhancing coverage needs, along with having advanced programming skills in high-level languages/scripting and understanding design principles and algorithms. - Understanding system engineering concepts and anticipating related issues to ensure appropriate test design coverage. - Having hands-on experience with scripting languages and tooling, including Robot Framework, Selenium, Cucumber, BDD, Core Java, Python, Groovy, virtualization, test data management, and API automation like SoapUI, Karate Framework, etc. Additionally, you should possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers and internal teams. You should also have the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
