As a Software Engineer Java, Scala, Big Data at CNH Industrial, you will be part of a highly skilled software team responsible for delivering innovative mobile and web applications that form the backbone of CNH Industrials cutting-edge digital platform. Joining us presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the ongoing technological revolution in the agricultural industry and collaborate with talented individuals in a global, diversified company. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with product management, UX designers, and backend developers in the design, development, testing, and deployment of both next-generation applications and existing product lines. - Design, develop, test, and document high-quality software that adheres to user and functional requirements within specified timeframes and in accordance with CNH Industrial's coding standards. - Generate rapid prototypes for feasibility testing. - Create all relevant documentation related to software operation. - Adhere to prescribed development systems, processes, and procedures to ensure efficient, effective, and high-quality delivery. - Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders. - Execute tasks as directed by the Delivery Lead or Team Lead. - Perform any other related duties as required. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited university. - Minimum of 3 years of industry experience. - At least 3 years of experience in Java Spring Boot server application design and testing. - Proficiency in writing server applications, handling large amounts of data, and Big Data processing (both batch and streaming). - Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, RESTful architectures, Design Patterns, Data Structures, and Algorithms. - Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and Microservices Development, including working with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm/Terrform. - Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and cloud services, including exposure to PAAS services like service bus, event hub, blob stores, key vaults, API managers, and Function Apps (serverless). - Knowledge of concurrency topics and asynchronous programming. - Excellent computer skills in Java (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate), Scala, Microservices, Web Services, OAuth 2.0 (JWT), Swagger, Postman, Open API Specification, Relational databases (SQL Server / Postgres), NoSQL databases (CosmosDB / MongoDB), Big Data/Geospatial technologies (HBase 2.1.6, Geomesa 3.0.0), batch and stream data processing tools (Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, Apache Spark, Azure Service Bus), caching mechanisms (Redis), CI/CD environments (preferably Azure DevOps), configuration management software (Git), and Build Automation tools (Maven). - Familiarity with Testing Tools such as Jasmine, Cypress, NUnit, xUnit, Junit, and Testcontainers.
