Job Description
As a Software Engineer, you will be a key member of the team contributing to the design, development, and enhancement of cutting-edge products in an agile environment. You will collaborate with talented peers, tackle complex challenges, and deliver high-quality solutions that power real-time transactional services, RESTful APIs, and container-based distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, document, write secure, scalable, and maintainable code adhering to best practices and implement new and existing applications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Collaborate on software development issues, problem analysis, and resolution.
- Participate in design/code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables. Automate functional testing through scripting.
- Embrace and integrate emerging technologies like Generative AI to enhance developer productivity.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Proven ability to work on complex distributed systems with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong proficiency in Redux, HTML5, CSS4, and JavaScript/jQuery.
- Expertise in C#, .NET Core, REST APIs, JSON, and container technologies.
- Experience with AWS cloud-based services and infrastructure.
- Passion for innovation and emerging technologies like Gen AI.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD tools (GIT, TFS, Maven, Jenkins, Chef, Sonar, JUnit, NUnit, Jest, Mockito).
- Experience with performance testing and shift-left practices.
- Solid understanding of secure coding techniques and collaboration with security teams.
- Hands-on experience with both relational and non-relational databases.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have; Optional):
- Awareness of accessibility best practices in frontend development.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Knowledge of API integration and backend communication beyond REST (e.g., GraphQL).
