Software Engineer - Java Developer

As a Software Engineer - Java Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and configuration of Pricefx solution using the Groovy language as per the business requirements. Your key responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the design, implementation, and configuration of Pricefx solution using Groovy language. - Communicating, gathering, and formalizing business requirements. - Cooperating with the support team and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues. - Supporting Solution Architects in developing and maintaining user stories. - Configuring solutions based on Solution Architecture and user stories. - Collaborating with the project team to resolve any issues. - Contributing to product enhancements. - Mentoring junior colleagues by transferring critical knowledge and unique approaches. - Analyzing and defining requirements for data integration from/to customer's other IT systems. ### Primary Skills Required: - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. - Proficiency in Java programming language. - Experience with relational databases. - Knowledge of Groovy. - Experience with enterprise software implementation projects. - Familiarity with PriceFX is a plus. - Hands-on experience (2-3 years) with PriceFX IntelliJ development tool and deployment approach. - Hands-on experience (2-3 years) with Java development. - Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and integration using JSON/Rest API. - Good understanding of PriceFX data models including master tables, company parameters, data marts, and datasources. - Proficiency in writing calculation logics and data loads for various business needs like LPQ, CPQ, and Rebates. - Willingness to learn new technologies. - Strong attention to detail. - Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline, GITHUB terminologies. - Experience with Agile project management and tools like Jira. - Experience with pricing domain projects. - SaaS experience. - Experience in working with internal and external stakeholders in an international environment. - Internship or work experience in Europe or US would be appreciated. - Specialization in data from a database management system. ### Education Qualification: - BE/Btech/BSC Please note that internship or work experience in Europe or the US is preferred.
