Job Description
As a Software Engineer at Graystone Capital, you will play a crucial role in developing internal software solutions, workflow automation tools, and custom system integrations to enhance operational efficiency, data management, and client servicing. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing custom internal applications to support financial advisory, deal management, and internal operations.
- Building secure web-based tools and dashboards for internal users.
- Developing automation systems to improve workflow efficiency across departments.
- Customizing and enhancing CRM systems, databases, and financial management tools used within the firm.
- Developing API integrations between internal platforms, banking systems, and third-party applications.
- Maintaining and optimizing internal software infrastructure.
- Developing tools for financial data processing, reporting, and analytics.
- Creating internal dashboards for management reporting and deal tracking.
- Building secure systems for document management and transaction workflows.
- Ensuring all internal software meets security, compliance, and performance standards.
- Troubleshooting system issues and continuously improving system performance.
- Providing ongoing support and improvements to internal platforms.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 36 years of experience in software development
- Strong experience in Python, JavaScript, Node.js, .NET, PHP
- Database management skills (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
- Web application development expertise
- API development and system integration experience
- Experience developing internal business tools or enterprise applications
- Strong problem-solving and system design skills
Preferred skills include experience building workflow automation systems, knowledge of financial systems, CRM platforms, or deal management tools, experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), and understanding of data security and financial data protection standards.
