Software Engineer II - Node JS

As a Senior Node.js Backend Developer at Equipped, you will be responsible for designing and building enterprise-grade commercial SaaS products using the latest cloud native tools & technologies. Your role will involve owning technical decisions, conducting feasibility analysis, developing secured Node.js Core Web APIs, and collaborating with team members and stakeholders. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications required for this position: Key Responsibilities: - Display an appetite and attitude for owning responsibility of technical decisions and direction for one or many projects. - Conduct technical feasibility analysis, research & development on Node.js technology related requirements. - Develop secured and robust Node.js Core Web APIs following Microservice Architecture. - Create reusable code and libraries for future use. - Optimize and refactor code for improved performance. - Work as an independent thinker and individual contributor with minimal supervision. - Collaborate effectively with other team members and stakeholders. Qualification Required: - B. Tech/ MCA from a reputed institute/ University. - 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role. - Hands-on experience and proficiency with microservices. - Proficiency in test-driven development utilizing XUnit/NUnit. - Advanced knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, and related frameworks with at least 5 years of backend development experience. - Strong experience in MySQL, SQLServer database design, optimization, and complex query execution. - Hands-on experience with MongoDB (NoSQL) and understanding of NoSQL database principles and performance optimization. - Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI for automating testing and deployments. - Deep understanding of Git, branching, merging, pull requests, and maintaining Git repositories. - Experience with unit testing frameworks like Mocha, Jest, or Chai. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. - Beneficial to have experience with No-SQL databases (Azure Cosmos Document and Graph DB preferred). - Understanding of design patterns.
