Software Development Engineer II (Backend Java)

In this role at JAVIS as a Software Development Engineer II, you will focus on developing the server-side web application logic to ensure high-end performance. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and optimizing backend services, developing backend components, connecting the application with third-party web services, and integrating front-end development work with the application. Responsibilities: - Manage the process of writing efficient, reusable, testable, and scalable Java code. - Implement business needs and feature modification requests. - Develop backend components to enhance performance, server-side logic, statistical learning models, and highly responsive web applications. - Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. - Test and debug software applications using the respective test framework tools. - Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements, provide technical solutions, and identify & resolve issues. Requirements: - Over 3 years of experience as a Backend Developer with expertise in Java and Spring Boot. - B.Tech / IDD degree in CS, IT, or equivalent from Tier I and Tier II institutes ONLY. - Strong academic record with a minimum CGPA of 8.5 & above in UG and PG. - A JEE Advanced rank within the top 2000 is mandatory. - Proficiency in core Java fundamentals and programming. - Good knowledge of Data Structures and OOPS concepts. - Knowledge of design patterns and low-level design. - Knowledge of web frameworks and RESTful APIs. - Good understanding of server-side logic and server-side languages. - Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in seeking solutions. - Proficient in process optimization and resolving complex problems efficiently.
