Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Engineer with strong experience in web development, server management, and deployment processes. The candidate will be responsible for developing, deploying, configuring, and maintaining web applications, servers, databases, and email systems. The ideal candidate should be proficient in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, and modern web technologies, with hands-on experience in hosting platforms such as GoDaddy and integration of third-party services.

Key Responsibilities

Web Development

• Develop and maintain web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, AJAX, and jQuery

• Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces

• Work with MySQL databases for data storage, optimization, and maintenance

• Support and maintain existing PHP-based systems

• Participate in MERN stack development (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) where required

Server & Deployment Management

• Manage web hosting environments (GoDaddy, cPanel, VPS, or dedicated servers)

• Perform application deployment, updates, and version control

• Configure and maintain Linux/Windows servers

• Handle domain configuration, DNS management, and SSL installation

• Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues

Database Management

• Install, configure, and maintain MySQL databases

• Perform backups, restoration, and optimization

• Ensure database security and integrity

Email & Communication Configuration

• Configure GoDaddy Webmail and email accounts

• Set up SMTP mail configuration, including Textlocal SMTP integration

• Configure email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)

• Troubleshoot email delivery issues

Integration & Automation

• Integrate third-party APIs and services

• Configure and manage cron jobs for scheduled tasks

• Perform WETI or other third-party system integrations (custom integrations as required)

• Maintain system automation processes

System Maintenance & Support

• Troubleshoot website, server, and database issues

• Maintain system security and perform updates

• Provide technical support and documentation

• Ensure uptime, reliability, and performance of web systems

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Strong knowledge of:

  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript

  • PHP and MySQL

  • AJAX and jQuery

  • MERN stack (preferred)

• Experience with GoDaddy hosting, cPanel, or similar hosting platforms

• Experience with server configuration and deployment

• Knowledge of SMTP, email configuration, and DNS

• Experience with cron jobs and automation

• Understanding of API integration

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Linux server administration

• Familiarity with Git version control

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, Azure)

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices

Experience Required
