Job Description
As a Social Media Analyst at Google consumer marketing, your role involves creating engaging and cutting-edge social strategies for various products and consumer apps in APAC. You will deliver methodological insights from social data to help build campaigns across the business. Your knowledge and skills in the social and analytical space, along with strong spreadsheet skills, are essential. Proficiency in SPSS, R, and Python would be beneficial but not mandatory. Your dynamism, open-mindedness, and interest in exploring new ways to leverage data for driving business value are crucial. Being a native speaker of Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, or Vietnamese is a plus.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading campaign measurement reporting from Earned, Owned, and Paid Social data for local market and/or product teams.
- Setting up, maintaining, and developing social listening databases across key markets and products to establish relevant baselines.
- Implementing a consistent campaign measurement framework scalable using regional and global best practices.
- Uncovering data-based insights, conducting experiments with marketing teams, and iterating to identify winning strategies in Social.
- Translating complex analytics into easy-to-understand and engaging recommendations for internal marketing teams and relevant agencies.
- Leading internal discussions on Social campaign measurement between marketing teams and social media research agencies.
- Initiating experimental projects independently for at least 10% of your working time.
