Job Description
As a ServiceNow Consultant, your role involves working on the ServiceNow platform with a focus on global implementation projects. You are expected to have strong knowledge and experience in IT Operations Management, CMDB Processes, and various web development technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Your responsibilities include integrating tools to federate data into the CMDB, managing IT Asset Lifecycle processes, and collaborating with internal teams for seamless integration of ServiceNow ITOM with other systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with clients to understand their IT operations requirements and recommend ITOM solutions that align with their business needs.
- Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow ITOM modules like Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, and Configuration Management.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI pages, and other customization features.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth integration of ServiceNow ITOM solutions.
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and technical point-of-contact for ServiceNow ITOM solutions.
- Define technical solutions aligned with business problems and best practices for ServiceNow ITOM/ Automation/ CMDB implementation.
- Maintain expert knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM Products and lead requirements gathering workshops with stakeholders.
- Oversee developers' work, ensure quality and delivery of development, and execute hands-on development when necessary.
- Conduct sprint demos, deliver development artifacts, and provide mentorship on technical design standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with the ServiceNow team and business stakeholders to monitor scope creep and resolve technical challenges effectively.
Qualifications Required:
- 5+ years of experience working on the ServiceNow platform in global implementation projects.
- Knowledge of IT Operations Management, CMDB Processes, and familiarity with network concepts and storage.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web development technologies.
- Experience with integration tools, IT Asset Management Lifecycle processes, and various scripting capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in various modules like Event Management, Service Mapping, Discovery, and Cloud Provisioning and Governance.
- Up-to-date knowledge of ServiceNow Versions, product features, and scripting capabilities.
- Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
