Job Description
As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in ServiceNow to provide development and support for the platform. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes for ServiceNow platform issues.
- Developing and maintaining custom applications, workflows, and integrations within ServiceNow.
- Collaborating with process consultants to ensure platform capabilities align with ITIL best practices.
- Managing and optimizing data integrity and configuration management processes.
- Leading technical discussions and providing guidance to team members.
- Supporting project managers in delivering ServiceNow-related project deliverables.
- Performing impact analysis and implementing changes following change management protocols.
- Monitoring platform performance and implementing proactive measures for high availability.
In order to excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in ServiceNow with a minimum of 6 years of experience.
- Hands-on experience with CMDB design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Experience in process consulting and aligning technical solutions with business processes.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow modules like Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, ITSM, etc.) are highly desirable.
- Experience in ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Exposure to Agile and DevOps methodologies.
