As a Service Controller at Vanderlande, you will be joining the Voice business control team in Pune, working closely with project service controlling teams worldwide. Your role involves supporting key financial processes related to service support contracts, with a focus on automation and continuous improvement. You will have the opportunity to contribute to financial excellence in domains such as Airports, Warehousing, and Distribution.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assisting in the preparation, analysis, and reporting of financial data for service support contracts globally.
- Supporting monthly forecasting processes, identifying deviations, and explaining performance drivers.
- Collaborating with Controllers and Project Managers to track cost and revenue performance.
- Participating in initiatives to automate and streamline financial processes.
- Utilizing tools like Excel, Power BI, and other data platforms to drive insights and efficiencies.
- Contributing to continuous improvement and implementing smarter ways of working.
- Supporting compliance with internal controls and finance policies.
- Participating in financial review meetings and building strong relationships with business stakeholders.
**Qualifications Required:**
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Economics, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- 7 years of relevant experience in finance, business control, or FP&A roles.
- Strong knowledge of Excel, with experience in data analysis.
- Exposure to Power BI or other dashboarding/visualization tools.
- Understanding of accounting principles.
- Eager to learn and improve, with a strong interest in automation, technology, and process improvement.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Analytical mindset and eagerness to learn.
- Fluent in English.
- Flexibility in accommodating international meeting schedules, particularly across different time zones, is essential.
