SEO Intern (Tech & Content)

As an intern at our company in Noida (Work From Home), you will be part of the SEO team, focusing on technical SEO, content optimization, and data analysis. Your role involves identifying technical issues, managing SEO tools, and creating search-optimized content. Here's an overview of your responsibilities: - **Technical SEO & Auditing:** - Conduct regular technical site audits to address crawlability, indexing, and site speed issues. - Monitor and resolve Google Search Console errors, such as 404s, mobile usability, and schema errors. - Collaborate with the development team to implement Schema Markup, optimize XML sitemaps, and manage robots.txt. - Analyze Core Web Vitals and suggest performance enhancements. - **Tool Management & Data Analysis:** - Utilize tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or Screaming Frog to extract actionable insights. - Set up and track data in Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console. - Conduct competitor analysis to identify backlink profile gaps and keyword ranking opportunities. - Prepare reports on organic traffic, keyword movements, and ROI. - **SEO Content Writing & Optimization:** - Conduct Keyword Research to identify valuable keywords. - Create SEO-friendly blog posts, landing pages, and product descriptions. - Optimize Meta Titles, Descriptions, H1-H3 tags, and Image Alt Text for On-Page SEO. - Refresh existing content to maintain or improve its ranking. Your qualifications should include: - **Technical Skills:** - Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and search engine crawling/indexing. - **Tools:** - Familiarity with GSC, GA4, and at least one major SEO tool. - **Writing:** - Strong English writing skills. - **Analytical:** - Ability to derive insights from data. - **Education:** - Degree in Marketing, IT, Communications, or related field. In addition to technical skills, we are looking for individuals with the following soft skills: - **The "Self-Starter" Mindset:** - Stay updated on SEO trends and changes. - **Detail-Oriented:** - Have a keen eye for spotting errors. - **Collaborative:** - Effectively communicate technical issues and content goals to different team members.
