Job Description
As an Assurance FAAS - FSO - WAM Senior/Assistant Manager at EY, you will have the opportunity to work in a globally connected powerhouse with diverse teams, supporting you to shape your career and reach your full potential. Your role will focus on providing advisory services to clients in the Wealth & Asset Management sector, including finance optimization, system implementation, financial statement close process support, regulatory and statutory reporting, advanced data readiness & analytics, audit and control support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring quality of service delivery by directing daily progress of fieldwork and informing Supervisors of engagement status
- Following through on client requests in a timely manner and managing expectations regarding deliverables and reports
- Demonstrating a good understanding of accounting concepts, professional standards, and firm policies to apply knowledge to client situations
- Preparation of materials and leading/participating in client workshops
- Undertaking practice development activities and contributing to business development efforts
- Driving innovation and contributing to the growth of the practice by providing input to EY Point of views and solutions
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and attributes:
- Good understanding of US GAAP/UK GAAP/IFRS
- Previous Wealth and Assets Management experience/knowledge essential, particularly in Private equity and Real estate
- Ability to apply logic and problem-solving to complex Finance business problems
- Strong communication, presentation, and technical writing skills
- Comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for detailed analysis and report writing
- Flexibility and willingness to travel as necessary
You should have a Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA (US), or ACCA (UK) qualification with 2-6 years of post-qualification experience in Big 4s, fund houses, or leading audit firms.
