Senior Test Engineer / Testing Lead

You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable test automation solutions for web applications and microservices in an Agile environment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks - Building robust automation test suites using Core Java and Selenium WebDriver - Automating REST API testing using Rest Assured and Postman - Developing automation utilities and test components using JavaScript / TypeScript - Performing backend validations and test data setup using Oracle PL/SQL - Identifying, logging, and tracking defects with transparent steps, logs, and evidence - Collaborating with developers and QA teams to drive defects to closure - Actively participating in Agile ceremonies - Contributing to automation best practices, test strategy, and continuous improvement You must possess the following mandatory skills: - Strong hands-on experience in Core Java programming and developing automation scripts - Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for UI automation - Experience in API testing using Rest Assured or Postman - Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript - Ability to take end-to-end ownership of test automation deliverables - Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL for query writing, validations, and test data support - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written It would be beneficial if you have the following additional skills: - Familiarity with TestNG - Experience with build & dependency management tools such as Maven or Gradle - Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins - Understanding of JSON and JIRA - Exposure to modern automation frameworks like Playwright In addition to the technical skills, you should have a solid understanding of OOP concepts, design principles, and Agile ways of working.
