Senior Test Automation Developer

As a Senior Test Automation Developer in Gurgaon with a shift timing of 3pm to 12am on a Fulltime basis with a Hybrid working mode, your main responsibility is to conduct various software testing activities independently. You will conduct system functional and acceptance tests on strategic, regional, or national high complexity projects. Your tasks will involve enhancing systems, workflows, and profitability through thorough software testing and analysis, potentially impacting multiple business handling systems based on project scope. You will have ownership of at least one strategic system. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the test lead in designing test plans and strategies, and contribute to the development of concepts, standards, and quality control procedures. - Create and execute automated tests, managing software tests effectively. - Support test executions and collaborate with Project/Agile teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage, taking into account downstream impacts. - Analyze and review test plans and cases to align with business objectives, system architecture, and user journey of applications. - Engage directly with business stakeholders, product owners, and developers. - Participate in walk-throughs, demos, and estimation sessions. - Develop full stack automation scripts end-to-end for at least one strategic application. - Create high-quality reusable automated test cases for strategic systems, identifying reusable modules and components within application automation scripts. - Define branching strategies and conduct code reviews. Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field - 5+ years of experience in a senior testing role - Proficiency in agile methodologies and test management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Zephir - Experience with Cloud technologies, particularly AWS, is beneficial - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines - Knowledge of full stack and testing frameworks in Python and Javascript like FastAPI, Pytest, React, and Playwright Additional Skills: - Ability to work independently with minimal guidance. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams. - Proficient in developing automation frameworks and tools. - Experience with code review and branching strategies. - Understanding of GenAI and ML concepts is advantageous - Occasionally, this role may involve acting as a test lead, requiring a deep understanding of automated testing principles and best practices.
