Job Description

As a Senior Technology Lead, you will be the local face-off for regulatory advisories, mandate adherence, inspections, and audits. You will coordinate with wider Technology teams to assess regulatory impact, define timelines, and ensure timely submissions and escalations. Your role will involve working closely with Tech Controls and Cyber Security to drive a unified governance approach, proactively identify risks and control gaps, and collaborate with stakeholders to validate solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting issues, managing key deliverables, and ensuring progress on remediation. You will utilize automation, including AI, to streamline workflows and adapt quickly to shifting priorities across the Technology landscape. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory advisories, mandate adherence, inspections, and audits - Coordinate with Technology teams to assess regulatory impact and define mutually agreed timelines - Work with Tech Controls and Cyber Security to drive a unified governance approach - Proactively identify Technology risks and control gaps - Collaborate with stakeholders to build and validate mitigating solutions - Document Technology issues, control gaps, and risk events in the Risks and Controls System - Project manage key Technology deliverables and ensure progress on remediation, funding, and prioritization - Maintain an updated inventory of all Technology regulatory obligations and stakeholder mappings - Contribute to governance forums and use automation to streamline regulatory and audit workflows - Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and ensure timely and accurate responses across the Technology landscape Qualifications Required: - Strong Technology background with the ability to interpret and challenge Technology asks in audits and regulatory queries - Experience evaluating solution options for automation and closing control gaps - Financial services domain understanding, especially Investment Banking - Strong Technology Risk & Controls exposure and familiarity with Technology Governance frameworks - Experience representing or coordinating Technology in regulatory inspections and audits - Strong verbal and written communication skills and senior stakeholder management experience - Strong project management, networking, influencing, and negotiation skills - Ability to check and challenge internal and external stakeholders - Academic qualification: B.Tech / MCA The job location for this role is Mumbai.
