Job Description
You will be involved in the development of Automotive Embedded Software using C/C++ programming. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting threat modeling at the vehicle level
- Influencing the architecture design of new features (embedded)
- Identifying and implementing cryptographic security controls
- Providing technical leadership to teams for enhancing their security capability
- Developing tools and frameworks to facilitate the adoption of security measures
- Performing penetration testing on new products to detect vulnerabilities
- Driving embedded cybersecurity requirements into new product programs
- Driving process improvements
Qualifications required for this role include:
- 6+ years of experience in embedded systems/software engineering and/or IoT systems
- 3+ years of experience in leading and creating a vision for a team
- 5+ years of experience in developing embedded applications in C or C++
- 5+ years of experience with Agile practices
- Experience with Linux distributions
- Experience with applying cryptographic concepts in the embedded space
- Experience interpreting and applying standards (e.g., ISO) and specifications in the embedded software space
- Experience with embedded Linux and other Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
- Experience in the application of cryptographic security controls for embedded systems
- Experience in the development of embedded systems for vehicles
- Experience in the development of IoT devices
- Experience performing penetration testing of embedded systems
- PKI experience
- Experience in a DevOps role
- Developed AWS-native applications
