Senior Tableau Developer - Data Visualization

As a Senior Tableau Developer, your role will involve working closely with customers to translate business needs into impactful Tableau dashboards and analytical solutions. You will need strong client-handling and communication skills, deep Tableau expertise, and the ability to take ownership of end-to-end BI delivery from requirement gathering to deployment and user adoption. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define metrics, and design analytical dashboards aligned to business goals. - Develop, test, and deploy interactive reports and visualizations using BI tools. - Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reports by working closely with data engineering and analytics teams. - Create and maintain data models, calculations, and KPIs to support reporting needs. - Optimize dashboards and queries for performance and scalability. - Implement best practices in visualization design, including layout, interactivity, and storytelling. - Collaborate in code reviews, documentation, and version control of BI assets. - Support self-service BI adoption by building reusable templates, data sets, and guiding end users. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to reports, data quality, or performance. - Stay current with new features, visualization trends, and BI advancements to continuously enhance reporting capabilities. **Qualifications Required:** - Primary Skills: Tableau - Secondary Skills: SQL Server In addition to the above, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards, reports, and analytical views using Tableau Desktop. You will also need to create advanced calculated fields, parameters, level-of-detail (LOD) expressions, and interactive features, as well as optimize dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability. Furthermore, you will publish and manage content on Tableau Server/Tableau Cloud, including permissions and extracts, and apply data visualization and storytelling best practices to deliver intuitive and actionable insights.
