Senior Software Tester

As a Senior Software Tester in the Device Connectivity team within the Donor Information System (DIS) space under the PlasmaDerived Therapies (PDT) business unit at Takeda, your role will be crucial in ensuring the quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance of software solutions that integrate medical devices with DIS applications. You will design, execute, and optimize test strategies covering functional, nonfunctional, integration, and negative scenarios across complex devicedata workflows. Your contributions will play a significant role in enhancing testing methodologies, maintaining standard operating procedures, and driving adoption of emerging technologies to increase test coverage and efficiency. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead core execution teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and effective task delegation. - Mentor and support junior testers, ensuring skill development and smooth execution. - Act as the communication bridge between the execution team and management, ensuring transparency and alignment. - Develop comprehensive test plans based on requirements and architectural/design specifications. - Execute functional, regression, integration, API, deviceworkflow, and negative testing activities. - Guide AI-driven test generation and apply data-driven testing techniques. - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using various automation frameworks. - Conduct load/performance testing, API testing, and support security testing practices. - Write and maintain test documentation and ensure clarity in reporting to stakeholders. - Contribute to improving QA processes, automation coverage, and crossteam working models. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field (Masters preferred). - 7+ years of experience in QA, with handson expertise in tools such as Tosca, JIRA, Postman, Jenkins. - Experience with SQL for backend validation, Agile frameworks, and Git for version control. - Understanding of AI-based testing concepts. - Familiarity with digital healthcare regulatory landscape, SAMD, SDLC, and Design control processes. - Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with excellent communication abilities.
