Senior Software Engineer in Test

As a specialist connecting with Mindrift for project-based AI opportunities, you will be focused on testing, evaluating, and improving AI systems. Please note that participation in projects is project-based and not permanent employment. Role Overview: - Create challenging coding test cases to push AI coding systems to their limits - Review and refine realistic coding tasks based on provided production codebases - Write comprehensive functional tests to validate actual end-to-end behavior and edge-cases - Craft "fair but hard" challenges requiring complex reasoning - Analyze AI failures to understand strengths and weaknesses - Iterate based on feedback from expert QA reviewers Key Responsibilities: - Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields - 5+ years of experience in software development, primarily Python - Background in Full-Stack development with a focus on React-based interfaces and robust Back-end systems - Experience in writing functional and integration tests - Knowledge of Docker containers and CI/CD understanding - English proficiency at B2 level Qualifications Required: - Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields - Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, primarily Python - Background in Full-Stack development with a focus on React-based interfaces and robust Back-end systems - Experience in writing functional and integration tests - Knowledge of Docker containers and CI/CD understanding In addition to the above, tasks for projects are estimated to take around 20 hours to complete. Payment for contributions is on an hourly basis, with rates up to $12/hour. The payment structure may vary based on expertise, project needs, and other factors.
