Role Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer at Avoma, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining the server-side of the platform. Key Responsibilities: - Develop features and enhancements for the Avoma product while ensuring security, testing, and performance standards are met - Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders within Engineering to uphold high standards of quality in a dynamic, iterative setting - Advocate for enhancements in product quality, security, and performance - Solve technical challenges of moderate complexity and scope - Write code that aligns with internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices in a high-scale environment - Conduct Code Review to guarantee backend service performance - Create RESTful APIs and functionalities for UI application clients (Web and Mobile) - Deploy and integrate with AI team's machine learning models - Manage the core data processing pipeline and video processing pipeline - Implement third-party integrations such as Calendar, CRM systems, and Video Conferencing - Develop search and analytics infrastructure - Handle DevOps and security tasks Qualification Required: - Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with a proven track record of delivering high-impact software - Proficient with Python, Django, and building RESTful APIs - Familiarity with using AI agents like Cursor and various prompting techniques - Knowledge of System Design using AWS services and Python/Django ecosystem frameworks - Experience in writing scalable, high-performing, and clean code - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field - Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to excel in an asynchronous work environment Additional Company Details: Avoma is an intelligent meeting assistant designed to automate tasks during customer-focused meetings using NLP and machine learning technologies.
