You are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Angular on the frontend and production experience with Go (Golang). In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable, secure, and maintainable applications, mentoring engineers, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-quality software efficiently. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Design & Build:** Architect, implement, and maintain end-to-end features across Angular (v12+) frontends and services built in Go. - **Quality & Reliability:** Champion code quality through TDD/Unit/E2E testing, observability with logging/metrics/tracing, performance tuning, and ensuring production readiness with SLIs/SLOs. - **API & Data:** Design RESTful/GraphQL APIs, work with relational and/or NoSQL databases, and optimize queries and data flows. - **Security by Design:** Implement secure coding practices such as OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, CSRF/XSS protections, secrets management, and least-privilege access. - **Cloud & DevOps:** Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, containerization using Docker, orchestration with Kubernetes, and cloud deployment on Azure/AWS/GCP. - **Technical Leadership:** Provide code reviews, mentor mid/junior engineers, drive design discussions, and lead technical initiatives. - **Collaboration:** Partner with Product, Design, QA, and Platform teams to refine requirements, sequence work, and ship incrementally. - **Documentation:** Produce clear technical designs, ADRs, and runbooks, and improve internal standards and best practices. **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience; 3+ years building SPAs using Angular and TypeScript. - Proficiency in the backend stack: - Go (Golang) (concurrency, goroutines, stdlib/net/http, gRPC) Required - Java (e.g., Java 11+, Spring Boot) - Optional - Node.js (TypeScript/JavaScript runtime, Express/NestJS, async patterns) Optional - Strong understanding of software architecture, API design, and data modeling. - Experience with testing frameworks (Jest/Jasmine/Karma for Angular; JUnit/Test containers for Java; Go test; Jest/Mocha for Node.js). - Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps/Jenkins), Docker, and at least one major cloud provider. - Solid grasp of performance, security, and scalability fundamentals. **About the Company:** Netsmart is a U.S.-based health-information technology (HIT) company focused on human services, behavioral health, and post-acute care.
