Senior Shopify Developer

As a Senior Shopify Developer at our company, you will be responsible for working on complex B2B + MLM architecture involving custom app development, checkout extensions, multi-country commerce, and advanced integrations. Your main responsibilities will include: - Build and maintain custom Shopify apps using Shopify Admin APIs (GraphQL & REST), Shopify Functions, and Checkout UI Extensions. - Extend Shopify capabilities for MLM workflows, distributor hierarchy, and commission triggers. Architect scalable solutions for high-volume stores. - Implement and optimize Shopify B2B workflows, including company accounts, custom pricing, and distributor segmentation. Experience with Shopify Markets and multi-country configuration. - Implement advanced referral attribution logic, affiliate tracking, and distributor order credit logic. Handle cookie/session-based attribution, server-side tracking, and privacy-safe tracking implementations. - Develop custom checkout extensions using Shopify Plus checkout extensibility and manipulate checkout flows for distributor validation, custom fields, and discount logic. - Experience integrating Shopify with ERP systems, MLM engines, CRM platforms, and custom backend services. - Optimize page speed, API latency, and mobile performance. Reduce dependency on heavy third-party apps. Technical skills required for this role include strong experience with Shopify Plus, Shopify GraphQL APIs, Node.js / JavaScript, and webhooks architecture. Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Shopify apps, Git-based deployments, multi-vendor marketplaces, and high-SKU environments is also necessary. Nice to have skills include experience with MLM systems, points/reward engines, attribution engines, Shopify Collective / Shopify Collabs, and building middleware layers. You should have at least 5+ years of Shopify development experience, 2+ years of Shopify Plus architecture experience, and experience in enterprise-scale implementations.
