Senior Scrum Master

As a Staff Scrum Master at Micron Technology Inc. in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, you will play a crucial role in leading world-class Agile projects, driving the team towards success by advocating for Scrum, DevOps, and other Agile methodologies. You will mentor the team, collaborate with technical and product teams, and support the implementation of capabilities that align with business objectives. **Responsibilities:** - Understand key business objectives and strategy, and communicate them clearly in partnership with the Product Owner - Bridge the gap between conceptualizing and actioning project ideas - Build and onboard project teams with a clear product vision - Monitor project progress and provide timely feedback - Facilitate Scrum collaborations including sprint planning meetings, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and demo sessions - Help the team achieve sprint goals by resolving obstacles - Partner with Product Owners to support agile projects and prioritize the backlog - Plan project deliverables schedules and roadmap - Develop and monitor agile critical metrics - Evaluate team performance, provide insights into team velocity and sprint activities - Motivate and encourage team members to improve - Serve as an Agile process ambassador, mentoring the team in Agile practices - Support Agile maturity and innovation approaches to improve efficiency - Be knowledgeable in agile methodologies such as XP, Lean, and Kanban - Support the deployment process by assisting with testing and business analysis **Requirements:** - Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field - Valid Scrum Master certification (CSM or PSM) - 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role - Strong understanding and experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban - Excellent leadership, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills - Effective verbal and written communication skills - Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning - Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities - Project management certifications (PMP, CITPM, or Prince2) are an advantage - This role requires working during the afternoon shift from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST.
