Job Description
You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed assigned targets for IQS solutions, which include CMMs, CT systems, optical and multi-sensor systems, etc. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, lead generation, and networking.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
- Conducting product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions with customers, often collaborating with application engineers.
- Negotiating pricing, contracts, and terms of sales agreements within company guidelines.
- Working closely with marketing, application, and service teams to ensure high customer satisfaction and seamless project delivery.
- Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM tools.
- Staying updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments.
- Representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer seminars.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 58 years of B2B technical sales experience, preferably in metrology, precision instruments, machine tools, or industrial automation.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and explain complex solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office tools.
- Willingness to travel across the Pune region and occasionally to other locations as required.
