Senior Risk Management

As a Risk Management professional, your role will involve providing professional advice to Project and Programme Managers on risk management processes and systems. You will lead the identification of risks, challenge the project team independently, and facilitate risk workshops to ensure effective contributions to the risk register. Key Responsibilities: - Provide risk management advice to Project and Programme Managers - Lead the identification of risks and provide independent challenge to the project team - Retrieve and analyze background information from project documentation and previous projects - Research key stakeholders prior to risk workshops - Organize and facilitate risk workshops with team members and external stakeholders - Capture risks using various techniques such as brainstorming workshops and interviews - Ensure all risk information is captured clearly in the Risk Register - Define project risk appetite and determine risk tolerance levels - Conduct Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis and Programme Schedule Risk Analysis using industry recognized software - Review risk analysis outputs and provide recommendations to key stakeholders - Identify and report risk trends, highlighting top risks to project delivery - Work to tight deadlines, producing quality reports and analyses - Prepare periodic reports and update Risk Management written reports - Liaise with Project Managers on risk management activities - Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Risk Management Department Qualifications Required: - 8 to 12 years of experience in project execution related environment with strong knowledge of risk management - Experience in developing QSRA models - Knowledge of risk management at project and programme levels - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Professional qualifications such as IRM Diploma, APM Risk Certificate, PMI-RMP are advantageous - Membership of risk management or project management professional bodies like IRM or APM is preferred Location: Bangalore Please note that the company's additional details were not provided in the job description.
