Job Description
As a Senior Project Manager at ZS's Program Management Expertise Center (PMEC), you will play a crucial role in planning, delivering, and governing various projects for clients and internal stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading end-to-end planning and execution across one or more workstreams for large engagements with multiple projects and workstreams.
- Driving program delivery for key workstreams across strategic initiatives, ensuring early traction and maintaining forward momentum.
- Setting up a robust PMO framework for effective delivery and execution.
- Collaborating with functional leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs.
- Identifying opportunities to improve project management practices and add value to teams, conducting periodic meetings with all PMOs and project leads.
- Planning and leading key initiatives in partnership with senior program leaders and client stakeholders.
- Mentoring junior PMO team members engaged in the program and providing the direction required for meeting project objectives.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Graduate/post-graduate in any discipline with 7 to 10 years of experience in Project Management.
- Prior experience in program and PMO activities for large business transformations or implementation of Digital strategies.
- Experience in managing large PMO verticals and client accounts.
- Understanding of project management phases, techniques, tools & reporting, and ability to work in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of PMI and Agile project management standards, with PMI/PMP, Prince2, or Agile certification desired.
- Fluency in English, client-first mentality, intense work ethic, collaborative spirit, and problem-solving approach.
Additional skills that would be beneficial for this role include:
- Understanding of projects KPIs and SLAs.
- Ability to implement processes, excellent oral and written communication skills, leadership skills, self-motivation, polished interpersonal skills, and customer focus.
- Proactive approach in identifying opportunities/challenges and taking initiative.
