Senior Project Landscape Architect

As a Senior Project Landscape Architect, you will play a crucial role in delivering large-scale, complex multidisciplinary landscape architecture projects as a lead within the discipline. Working closely with Project Managers and Design teams, you will be responsible for developing various landscape design options and refining selected designs throughout the project design cycle. This includes conceptual landscape designs, preliminary and final detailed designs, as well as tender documents for landscape architecture projects. Key Responsibility Areas: - Develop a data inventory system and archive necessary data for sharing with project team members as required. - Analyze collected data to identify main design constraints and key challenges, collaborating with design teams of other specializations to integrate landscape design constraints. - Support the production of data collection reports for large-scale, complex multidisciplinary projects, highlighting all collected and missing data. - Create different landscape design options for large-scale complex projects in coordination with Urban Designers, Urban Planners, Architects, and other relevant design teams. - Assist in developing alternative conceptual landscape designs for large-scale complex projects through plans, sections, mood boards, perspectives, and material boards. - Support the development of comprehensive technical reports detailing design concepts, softscape components, cost estimates, etc. - Aid in refining selected landscape design options into preliminary and final detailed designs in coordination with other design disciplines, including developing required drawings and graphical materials. - Develop landscape tendering documents and collaborate with the Quantity Surveying Department for final specifications, landscape palettes, Bills of Quantities, and Conditions of Contract. - Provide technical assistance during the supervision phase, including solving design conflicts, conducting site visits, and reviewing shop drawings in coordination with local design support teams. - Assist Project Managers in validating design deliverables with clients and authorities, capturing feedback and obtaining approvals. - Mentor Landscape Architects and Design Landscape Architects, guiding them with the necessary skills. - Prepare man-hour estimates for large-scale complex landscape architecture projects. - Plan and manage work effectively to meet project delivery deadlines. - Review and conduct design reviews and verifications. Qualification & Experience: - Master's in Landscape Architecture or Bachelors Degree in Architecture with Landscape architecture experience. - Minimum of 12 years of working experience. - Project Management Experience (Demonstrated Experience/Certification Preferred). - Excellent Leadership and Soft Skills. - Design Management, Design Coordination, QA/QC & Value Engineering. - Advanced to Expert Level Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator & Acrobat Pro). - BIM/Revit Experience highly recommended and valued during prequalification. - Excellent communication skills (Written & Verbal).
