As the Senior Project Head - Multi-Unit Operations at DAS Superfoods Pvt Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations of multiple manufacturing plants producing Peanut Butter, Rice Cakes, Oats, and Muesli. Your responsibilities will include strategic operations leadership, production and manufacturing management, quality and food safety assurance, organic and export compliance, engineering and projects oversight, supply chain and procurement optimization, team leadership and HR development, financial management, innovation and new product development support, and stakeholder management. **Key Roles & Responsibilities:** - **Strategic Operations Leadership** - Lead multi-plant manufacturing strategy, KPIs, and budgets - Align plant operations with business goals and expansion plans - Oversee new plant setup and standardize SOPs - **Production & Manufacturing** - Manage production planning, capacity utilization, and delivery timelines - Improve OEE, implement lean practices, and reduce bottlenecks - **Quality & Food Safety** - Ensure compliance with HACCP, FSSC, BRC, FSSAI standards - Handle audits, certifications, and product quality consistency - **Organic & Export Compliance** - Manage organic certifications (USDA, NPOP, EU) - Oversee export documentation and regulatory compliance - **Engineering & Projects** - Lead maintenance, CAPEX, and automation initiatives - Manage utilities, equipment, and plant infrastructure - **Supply Chain & Procurement** - Ensure raw material availability and vendor management - Drive cost optimization and inventory control - **Team Leadership & HR** - Lead and develop cross-functional teams across plants - Drive performance, training, and safety culture - **Financial Management** - Manage operations P&L, budgeting, and cost control - Track performance and implement cost-saving initiatives - **Innovation & NPD Support** - Support new product development and commercialization - Collaborate with R&D for process and scale-up - **Stakeholder Management** - Manage customer audits, plant visits, and presentations - Coordinate with regulatory bodies and leadership **Educational Qualification:** - Essential: B.Tech / B.E. in Food Technology, Food Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field - Preferred: M.Tech / M.Sc. in Food Technology / Food Science / Food Engineering - Added Advantage: MBA in Operations Management / Supply Chain Management - Certifications (Preferred): HACCP Lead Auditor, BRC/FSSC 22000 Internal Auditor, Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), PMP (Project Management Professional) In this role, your technical skills will be crucial, including strong knowledge of food manufacturing, expertise in food safety standards, experience with organic certifications, proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, hands-on experience with Lean tools, knowledge of CAPEX projects, familiarity with food packaging technologies, understanding of export compliance, and strong financial management skills.
