Job Description
As a Senior O&M Engineer at Peak Energy, you will be part of a renewable energy platform focused on developing solar, wind, and battery projects across Asia. By contributing to carbon neutrality and meeting the region's rising energy demands, you will play a crucial role in developing large utility-scale projects, including some of the largest solar and wind farms in Korea and Japan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement O&M schedules for efficient operations and develop maintenance plans for transmission line components, ensuring effective preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Track and manage plant breakdown maintenance, diagnose electrical and mechanical problems affecting transmission line components (transformers, insulators, conductors, and substations).
- Report PV plant performance history, ensure compliance with safety regulations to minimize risks during maintenance.
- Develop and maintain quality inspection reports for plant construction and maintenance, keep detailed records, and generate reports for management and regulators.
- Create and manage acceptance test reports for plant operations, participate in equipment upgrades to improve transmission line efficiency.
- Supervise O&M contractors, respond to emergencies such as power outages to restore electrical transmission promptly.
- Maintain utility reports, ensure compliance, collaborate to optimize maintenance procedures.
- Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and attend training to improve electrical transmission line maintenance skills.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Technology, Electronics, or related professions.
- 10+ years of experience in PV plant performance analysis, O&M scheduling, with hands-on experience in Transformers, HT & LT motors, switchgears, etc.
- Ability to develop and maintain quality inspection reports and acceptance test reports.
- Familiarity with PV Plant Performance History Reporting and Tracking, Contractor Performance, and more.
- Proficiency in preventive, breakdown, and predictive maintenance, including DG sets.
- Strong negotiation skills, ability to train teams, and orientation towards continual improvement.
- Thorough knowledge of statutory requirements of the electrical inspectorate.
