Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Mechanical Engineering

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer -Plastics at STET, you will be responsible for executing engineering requirements analysis, developing and validating test plans, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards under general supervision. You will participate in design reviews, provide insights for continuous improvement, adhere to company policies, and maintain quality standards. Additionally, you will evaluate external vendors and technologies for integration, maintain component performance and reliability, and foster strategic partnerships to enhance product innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Successfully interact with associates in other departments such as Manufacturing Operations, Procurement, and engineering staff to achieve project and product objectives. - Detail design specification preparation, implementation, test, and integration of Unit per the higher-level Requirement and Design specifications/architectures. - Ensure mutual consistency and efficient integration of separate modules in modular, easy-to-maintain units that meet the product specification. - Determine the Unit interfaces (HW/SW) in close consultation with relevant disciplines. - Keep abreast of technical developments in your own field through study of the literature and technical contacts and propagate it. - Take technological or process-related improvements initiatives within the scope of at least the mechanical development group. - Contribute to the Work Breakdown Structure/planning process of your area. - Draw up personal schedule and report on progress. Qualifications Required: - Masters or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3-6 years of relevant work experience. - 3-6 years of relevant experience in design & development of electro-mechanical sub-systems & systems. - Strong communication and collaborative abilities, proactively seeking out expertise and advice from others in a collaborative team environment, with Project Management skills. - In-depth knowledge and 3 years of experience in the development of mechanical design. - Experience in creating design concepts and mechanical designs of complex parts or assemblies. - Strong knowledge and experience in CAD/ Creo NX LCM-Life cycle management. - Experience in metal or plastic crafts (drilling, milling, etc.) and experience in PDM/PLM (Windchill). Please note that for office-based teams, this role requires working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles necessitate full-time presence in the company's facilities, while field roles are effectively carried out outside of the company's main facilities, generally at customers' or suppliers' locations.
