Job Description
As a Provider Management professional, you will be responsible for various key tasks including:
- Negotiating tariffs and managing costs effectively
- Conducting surprise audits, checking claims, and negotiating on a case-to-case basis
- Efficiently managing workload of both field and office operations
- Building and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers such as Hospitals, Diagnostics & OPD Clinics
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of Health Claims processes and Health Insurance products
- Collaborating with internal teams (Claims, Sales, Central Teams) and external stakeholders (Brokers, Channel partners, Corporates)
- Controlling costs for the assigned portfolio and ensuring timely reporting of business MIS
- Leading technology and process-related initiatives with an analytical and data-driven approach
- Ensuring compliance with audit and organizational guidelines
- Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to drive closure on various initiatives
Additionally, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Educational background in MBBS/B Pharma/M-Pharma/Physiotherapy/BAMS/BHMS/Paramedics or similar
- High energy levels, innovative thinking, and a can-do attitude
- Strong relationship-building skills at all levels to achieve business objectives
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint with strong analytical skills
Please note that the job requires a good analytical mind to understand hospital tariffs and claim costs while managing them effectively. Your attention to detail, presentation skills, and ability to collaborate effectively will be essential in this role.
