By seamlessly integrating proprietary models with Google's advanced AI platforms, Glance AI offers hyper-realistic and deeply personal shopping experiences across various categories such as fashion, beauty, travel, accessories, home dcor, pets, and more. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define the vision and strategy for Commerce Intelligence at Glance, focusing on areas like Multi-Modal Search, Recommendation Systems, Brand and Price Affinity Modeling. - Play a pivotal role in driving the larger AI-first aspirations of the company by leading the Commerce Intelligence team. - Stay updated on current AI and machine learning capabilities and advancements, focusing on practical applications within recommendation and personalization technology. - Articulate the purpose of data science solutions to key stakeholders and customers and translate them into actionable business strategies. - Drive product innovations, efficiency improvements, automation, data and system architecture enhancements, risk mitigation, and process improvements. - Lead and inspire a team to achieve the defined vision, remove obstacles, empower team members, and drive positive outcomes using advanced analytic data modelling systems. - Take ownership of employee engagement, productivity enhancement, and driving the Data Science team towards success. **Qualifications Required:** - PhD or Masters in a quantitative field like Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Analytics, or Data Science. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with relevant experience. - 10+ years of industry experience in ML working on large-scale recommendation systems or personalization, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - Deep expertise in algorithms, models, and techniques used in designing, scaling, and optimizing large-scale recommendation systems. - Proficiency in software programming and statistical platforms such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc. - Familiarity with distributed training technologies like Apache Spark, RAPIDS, dask, etc., and MLOps stack such as Kubeflow, MLflow, or their cloud equivalents. - Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and excellent technical and business communication abilities. - Curiosity, rapid learning capability, and the ability to simplify technical ideas for non-technical stakeholders. - Experience in e-commerce would be an added advantage.
